English Conversation Group
This group meets once a week at the University Club and is for Newcomers wishing to improve their conversational English skills in a relaxed and friendly environment. Previous topics of conversation can be downloaded below.
Needlecraft Group
This group meets once a week for those wishing to do various needle crafts - such as knitting, cross-stitch work, crochet. Meetings are held in the home of the Group leader.
Evening meetings are held three times a term when members discuss a particular book. A list of previously discussed books can be downloaded below.
Singing Group
Come join our non-auditioning, social Singing Group! You do not need any prior singing experience - just an interest in singing! We welcome singers of all voice ranges, so please consider coming by for some enjoyment with music-making.
Parent & Toddler Group
Come join our Parent & Toddler Group! It is a chance for toddlers to paly together and parents to relax and chat. We meet regularly during term times.
Art Group
The group meets every week on Mondays straight after Conversation Group sessions in University Club. Our meetings run in a friendly and open atmosphere and combine drawing with chatting.

We can organise a range of events that introduce you to the delights of Oxford, with its quirky traditions, and the surrounding area. We may visit interesting historic buildings and gardens, take a trip to nearby antiques centres, explore Oxford on foot or walk in the countryside. These events can include a pub lunch or refreshments at a tea shop. See our 'News' for events we have put in the past few months. If you have suggestions or ideas about something you would like to do, let a committee member know.
