The Oxford University Newcomers' Club is run by volunteers whose aims are to help those who are new to the University of Oxford to settle in, to find out more about Oxford, and to provide opportunities to meet people.

Our membership includes partners of visiting scholars, of graduate students and of newly appointed academic and administrative members of the University as well as others.

We are a globally diverse and inclusive group, welcoming people from all backgrounds. We value the contribution you make to the Newcomers' community and to the wider University.

We have put together some ideas for anyone new to Oxford who wants to make friends and feel part of the community.

During term-time, we have coffee/social mornings on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 12:00 at the University Club, 11Mansfield Road, OX1 3SZ.

During vacations we meet informally at The University Club.

Our Coffee Mornings in Hilary Term started on Wednesday 11th January 2023 and end on Wednesday March 15th 2023. [The dates are also on the calendar]

Further information is available through our 'Meetups' email group.

We very much look forward to meeting you and hope to make your stay in Oxford an enjoyable one.
