International Picnic

On Saturday afternoon 17th June, we celebrated the closer collaboration that we have developed with the Oxford Research Staff Society (OxRSS) when we had our first-ever joint event - a very successful international party/picnic in the beautiful surrounds of the Maison Française. 

The weather was sunny and warm.  70 people and 9 children enjoyed the lovely British summer day, and meeting each other. Along with games and music, we shared food, with different international dishes for all to taste and share, as well as laughter as we made new friends. 

Huge thanks to Maison Française for the venue, and particularly to the Research Hub for generously funding and supporting the event.  We look forward to more joint events in the next academic year, see you soon!
